Sound off what tournaments are teams thinking to enter?

I'm sure most if not all teams should be in Laxfest. And hopefully ALL teams will be in their actual age bracket. This every team playing up is getting old. Play your age and if u go undefeated then great. I'm sure Igloo United Express will give Smash good games .

Express is not going to laxfest.

Smash should only play up in A div they are so much better than the rest of the 2022 teams. Let rest fight it out against each other and get better. Maybe in a few years they will be ready to compete with Smash, I dout it

You are crazy. They are 11 yr old boys that live in the same locale as the boys on the other LI teams. Smash kids are not freaks of nature. No superstars , just a group of 20 that work very hard. As do the boys on some of the other teams. Mark my words that a couple of other LI teams will give them very tight games. What Smash did is hype themselves up with out of state wins and now think they are untouchable against their peers back home. Play your age and see how the others fair against. I bet you don't.

They are overrated. Great team no doubt , but not a Crush caliber team.

Smash is a better caliber team now. Wait until their older scary.

Yea ok. I'll bet half the kids aren't on the team next year. If your saying Smash I better now than Crush was at this age then your new to the scene .

Smash is a very well coached team that has been together for a while. Give MC a year or two and he will recruit the players to beat that team. His talent level is almost there. They just need a few more pieces and time to jell, smash will be dethroned. United catching up. Igloo would give them a heck of a game right now.

Who cares? It's 5th grade lacrosse!!! Chill out and enjoy watching all of these boys play and develop. What I see here is embarrassing. The talent level at this age group is off the charts. I could care less who is better than who. I am enjoying watching my son play with the best of the best in his age group and look like he belongs. Some of you people need to get a grip

Igloo will beat Smash this season if they play each other.

Let's all slow down. Smash is very good, got beat in Maryland last year. Had some very close games with igloo, United and 32. Great team, great coach, definately the team to beat but no need to beat them up or beat them down. They are the best on LI until proven different and a top team in the NE. So congrats to them.

Smash Parents pounding their chests...the team is awesome, the kids are respectful, the coaches are solid...why ruin it? Cheer with class. Especially when you come on here to boast how good your little Johnny's team is. It's already been established, so there is no need to talk. Sal was talkative in between the pipes, but he was funny and kept things funny. His players seem to follow that lead. Why can't the parents?

Has anyone sent ther son to hofstra camp? Is it ok?

Yes I sent my son last season and he thought it was slow going at first but really ended up enjoying and learning things that he is using now.

Why is Smash not at young guns Crabs tournament. Best of the best from New [lacrosse] to Virginia.

I'm sure they are not afraid to play Igloo. As of now with that weekend off , I'll be thinking of you all enjoying your 4th of July on a field in the middle of nowhere when it's 90+ degrees. Have fun.
