People who make fun of teams or call them soft or say they are terrible all have one thing in common. They have children who were either:
1. Cut from the team
2. Tried out and didn’t make the team.
3. Didn’t try out for the team because they won’t make it.
4. Have a personal vendetta against a coach or owner or parents from the team they are bashing.
These are undeniable truths.
Of the things I listed, 4 is the most pathetic. At least 1,2, and 3, I could sort of feel bad for them. They are just making excuses to try to make themselves and their children feel better about where they currently stand in this silly little world of travel lacrosse. |
