I agree with some points here. There a numerous opportunities for a player to be seen and attend great programs. A point to consider is not the political influence a HS coach may have or not have in making a LI team, but rather the opportunity to talk to college coaches attending the tryouts. Some coaches take a very proactive role in this while others do not even attend the tryouts or final event. This, in my opinion, is where some players may come out on the short end. |
