Pretty simple. If you make TG you pay the $500. If you make YJ in October, you lose $500 that you paid. Other clubs want you to pay the club fee in full.
you will end up at YJ either way, so don't waste $500 to hold a spot unless you don't care about donating $500 to the smiths
