Honest Question? How many girls on the ginormous Syracuse roster of 50 are getting any money?
There are about 22-26 girls on the Syracuse roster who get ZERO MONEY, nobody ever talks about that. Sure its a top 10 program with a legendary coach but the point is that all the "commits" the clubs brags about doesn't always mean they are getting an athletic award
There is nothing wrong with getting zero money at Syracuse. It's an in-state school with decent academics and all the swag the girls get makes up for it. Would Rutgers with 25% athletic be a better deal. NO. Playing time - hey, if that's what your girl wants. Nothing yah can do about it. I like the idea of at least getting her off the island and seeing something beyond the turnpike.
Illustrates the mindset of a typical Yj parent. Only worried about the swag, know nothing about the program (in this case the school, not knowing private from in state), and doesn't care about playing time, happy to see their kid sit the bench as long as they can have that swag and the sticker for the car. Suckers!
