You are trying to compare apples and oranges. No tryout from year to year is the same. Not all the same players show up and some players do improve from year to year and some players DO not improve. This allows changes in each years team. Most teams do add and remove players fro many reasons. Especially with all the options available for players and all the players available for coaches.This is not just in this club/organization but in all of them.
Still no excuse for a good handful of orange kids not to even show up on the first night of tryouts. Hubris.
