They should state up front - "Your son is not trying out for the Orange team - he is trying out for placement on either the Blue or whatever we are calling the 3rd team. Thanks for the Hundy."
yet kids that were not on orange last year made the team this year - kindly explain..... This is a team that won the U15 national championship last year and cut a couple of kids and added a couple of kids for a rising Junior team what else do you want. check out the other threads where they complain about lack of loyalty
Guarenteed any changes were already decided well before the tryouts based on play last summer and fall. The actual tryouts had nothing to do with the changes.
why wouldnt they, an avg player can have a great try out. You need to know how they played before they try out. The diamond in the rough that shows up at tryouts will be researched to see if it was a fluke.
While the boys who played last year had their oppurtuity to show what they can do.
Personally, I wished Express would put a bit more emphasis on the next teir of players. There are a lot of players who would love to play for them, but the families feel they have not shown in the past few years that those teams (below the orange) are important to them. This is where i feel the other organizations surpass Express. IMHO
