All clubs hold tryouts for the few open spot on existing teams to take the best players. Name one club that had a tryout and said upfront how many actual spots were open on any given team? Orange, Purple, Terps,91,96,100,Crabs,Gladiators,True Blue,Green Yellow, Hawks whatever....it is the nature of the process. All teams hold a tryout and usually collect some sort of fee and then pick teams. You are obviously disgruntled with your experience with this particular club but I know firsthand it happens elsewhere. Coaches want the best players.My son was actually solicited by a coach of another club(Not Express) after a game(5th grade team at the time) and asked to come play with them and he would promise to "make room" for him. How do you think his current player that would be cut would have felt? |
