Anyone know about the 2022 team?
Hows the coach at that level? & what about the parents?
Its glorified PAL team. They cant compete with the very good teams. The coaches are parent coaches that coach PAL and that would be the extent of their coaching experience. Why would anyone pay all that money, drive to MD, etc. just to extend the PAL season?
Here's my two cents on parent coaches in youth sports in general. Yes they dedicate time and energy and do seem to enjoy the sport but make no mistake, their kid comes first and they really don't care about anyone else. My experience is that most ( I said most) have kids that are average at best and would not be on the better teams or see the field nearly as much had mom or dad not been the coach.
Now to take the same mom and or dad coaches and put them on a travel lax team is a recipe for disaster. Sorry but I would run away as fast as I could to a different program.
