Hats off to St Mary’s as well - it was 2-1 in the 4th

Hats off - for what? They scored all of 2 goals. I get that the x attack was dominant in HoCo youth lacrosse, but you're telling me St. Mary's can't find a more mature and better player at that spot with all of the Hawks and other travel players who go there? There's gotta be a back story on that one.

kids dad has found his way on to the coaching staff. hilarious

About 3-4 made varsity. The dad is not an official coach but roams the team sideline.

Over the last 5 years of MIAA conference play (2018-2023, no games in 2020) the W/L records of the programs are interesting. In 2021, the St. Mary's vs. St. Paul's game was canceled. SM finished 6-3 and SP finished 3-6 that year.

- CHC in 2019 and McDonogh in 2021 were the only teams to go 10-0 over the past 5 full seasons.
- One loss has been done twice, McDonogh went 9-1 in both 2018 and 2023
- 8-2 has been done 6 times; CHC in '18 and '23, St. Mary's in '19 and '22, Spalding in '21, and BL in '22

1 - McDonogh (40-10) 2 Championships, 1 runner-up
2 - Calvert Hall (39-11) 2 Championships, 1 runner-up
3 - St. Mary's (35-14) 2 runner-ups
4 - Boys' Latin (35-15) 1 Championship, 1 runner-up
5 - Loyola (30-20)
6 - St. Paul's (24-25)
7 - Spalding (24-26)
8 - Severn (21-29)
9 - Gilman (17-33)
10 - MSJ (6-44)
11 - John Carroll (3-47)

Definitely an alum. Know some families that wouldn’t send their kids there because of that guy.

Yes curious...it wouldn't be the Ryleigh's Oyster guy would it?

Actually none of the varsity coaches are alums other than goalie coach. Ryleighs guy not a coach. Seems like jibberish

The reference to the "kids mom is a dermatologist with a back room to make the end of everyone's visit happy. the coaches have been in "their" after work almost daily" insinuates that the player's selection and favor might be influenced by personal relationships rather than purely athletic merit. This kind of insinuation implies that the coaches frequent the dermatology practice for perks or benefits, which, in turn, might be affecting their impartiality in player selection.

Severn has been struggling in goal. The goalie just seems off a bit. Not making the easy saves.

Annapolis area has been losing talent to Balt and DC teams last few years, that and coaching has left you the uncompetitive teams . Lucky for both there are some bottom feeder teams in MIAA A .
