JC should drop to B conference and Gilman may as well join them. I should have walked down the street and watched a real varsity game. JC just doesn’t have enough talent year in and year out to be in A conference. They couldn’t even face off correctly! Gilman has a bunch of “Chads” on defense and only a few good offensive players. They do have an excellent goalie that keeps them in games.
Both teams may not win another game this year!

We aren’t pretenders. St Paul’s Was Down one of its best Players today. We will be fine. This team is for real.

You would figure the coach would switch the match up. This is why STP won’t win. The starting attack routinely turned the ball over. #pretenders

LB is the pretender this season - solid defense, but an unexciting and flat offense that turns the ball over repeatedly and is terrible in transition. Despite the hot garbage effort and numerous mistakes by many of their offensive starters, the coaches keep the same ineffective lineup on the field the entire game while ignorning their lengthy roster of other talent. LB might actually only beat MSJ, JC, and Gilman this season and continue to make excuses about being a "young team" which is a complete joke. The truth is LB couldn't win with half a roster of seniors last year which clearly points back at subpar coaching. That school better rethink their formula and fast if they want to actually compete in the MIAA vice being a speedbump for other teams to build stats. Already losing to Gonzaga, G-Prep, and St. Mary's are clear indicators of their abysmal potential this year. Looking at their upcoming lineup, it is safe to say this season may be over for the Dons as they will assuredly lose to better teams like St. Pauls, McD, BL, and CH.

What is this, neighborhood rec lacrosse? One player doesn’t carry a team. Use that excuse in Rec sports, not in MIAA.

Well at least St Paul’s will not be questioning the high school rankings again on FB. Your defense gave up 15 goals.

Based off the games yesterday. The league is wide open. Mediocre teams. There are 5 top teams that will beat each other up and 6 teams that will be lucky to get a single win all year against one of the top 5.

Losing a player for a game is a part of sports....and theoretically why there are 50 backups on the MIAA sidelines instead of 10.

BL is the best team and may run the table (maybe only one loss). Then there is a group of 5 teams behind them that all have fatal flaws at either coaching, offense, D/keeper or FO or some combination thereof.

MIAA doesn't have serious football teams ... Baltimore has St. Frances that's it . You have to go the WCAC Spalding beat Gonzaga last year So says the WCAC dads that are bitter cause their kid stop playing football once in high school. No more little league MVP or undefeated seasons.HAHAHAA. MIAA athletes play multiple sports which again is why no other lax league is better and does more with the size of each school and the talent. 6 to 7 teams always in the top 25 of any rankings year after year.Thats 75% of the MIAA league national ranked! Not 2 teams not 3 but at least 6.

Sounds like someone’s son is a bench wetter. You must be very bitter but your assessment is not wrong.

Loyola's junior class makes up most of the varsity squad and they are not exceptional. They play SP next week and I think that will tell us how bad Loyola really is this year. "Mediocre" (beats SP) or "Oh No".

Its March. Everyone makes the playoffs. 8 weeks to go people. The teams that build and peak in May (BL, Calvert Hall, McDonogh) will have a chance to win the title. Its a grind we hope without any injuries.

Spalding is not as good as last year they lost to many weapons and defense is not that good. Also to many turnovers that will hurt when playing a solid team.

Who was the player St Pauls was missing?
Do they have any players capable of swinging a 5 goal game the other way? I can only think of 3 or 4 kids that good in the whole MIAA?
