Madlax finished regular season in HoCo league in 4th place. Lost playoffs in finals. A very good team, capable of winning any weekend, but not necessarily better than the best LI or MD teams. The ESPN commentators seemed to be much more impressed with MadLax players. Even noted that they ran more mid lines. Seemed like LIE relied on 2 guys. Not sure that works in a two-day Summer tournament, which is something Mark Dillon pointed out. I can’t believe it’s two days after the tourney and this lost is still making excuses. What a lost! No shame in losing to a LI team. You must be use to it by now.

Not a WP parent but got to see the dynamics yesterday. Great coaches. Great organization. Spoke with a couple of parents that found not have been more welcoming. Head Coach refuses to cut players because of the bond they have built. They have been like fathers to those boys. With that said, healthy competition is not a bad thing. New players will come. That’s obvious. Top 5 or so of Taz will join WP. Will playing time be reduced for some... yes. But, where else are you going to get to train with the best “on age” competition to prepare for WSL. What an awesome ride for these boys!

Maybe the most accurate (and funny) thing ever posted on this site Agreed. Funniest commentators ever. I felt like I was watching a Saturday Night Live episode The ESPN commentators seemed to be much more impressed with MadLax players. Even noted that they ran more mid lines. Interesting comment considering MadLax has beaten all the LI teams multiple times. One thing about 6th grade lacrosse is that any team can win any game. The games are always close and hard fought. Too bad the dads on here don't have the character that the boys have on the field.

What do you mean by lucky? Did ML barely win their games? Tourney app says they easily won quarterfinal and semifinal games.

The inner struggle begins.

What an awesome ride for these boys! That's why Brian Spallina is taking over. Too much sentimentality to make a winning team. A new broom sweeps clean! WP parents have to be in a cold sweat right now, wondering ...
