Cannons over RoughRiders in LaxSplash championship 7-6.
Lax splash is a rec tournament - why would either of those teams play it?

Lax splash is a rec tournament - why would either of those teams play it? There was a club division for laxsplash. Just because there weren't college coaches or "elite" teams does't mean an event isn't worthwhile. Kids playing lacrosse for fun, imagine that.

Underarmor underclass rosters are announced on their website. The have a profile for each player including DOB, school etc. One of the 2020 kids that made the team gets a ton of grief on this site for being a double hold-back. However his birthday is listed as 4/01. So he's 15 not 16 as many on this board have suggested. I guess they could fib his age on the UA site but football is age verified right? He did in fact play rec football in the fall. I do not know this kid, his family or have any affiliation with or affection for his current or future school or club. It seems that many on this site make things up or exaggerate to fit their narrative/agenda. I am for age based youth sports but lies and repeating unverified BS is no way to go about it. Especially anonymously.

A few double holdbacks. I guess that's the way they roll in MD. It is what it is!

By the strictest definition of holdback (2019 being from 9-1-2000 to 8-31-2001 for example) there are 11 holdbacks. If you discount summer (July and August) birthdays, there are 5.

There are a number of 16 year olds on the Crabs 2020 team and several that will turn 16 before the end of the year. The kid you are referring to really isn't that spectacular anyway. Older and bigger - that's about it. Yawn.

That's how BK at FCA and CH rolls. It's all about supporting " his " kids. Either friends with daddy or going to Calvert Hall. Regardless if they are strong lax players. Then they get to CH and become disenchanted because BK'S politics become even more of a play time factor. No different then any all-star team he has been associated with. It's never about the best players but more about his agenda. Been that way for years. Sure there's good players on this team but others that wouldn't play at other top clubs. Worst manipulator of kids I've seen in long time. This is why so many kids transfer out of Calvert Hall each year. You will never out play his politics.

Both he and the 11-99 both go to the same school which is private. These kids aren't in 9th grade but instead just trying to beat the system in hopes that a college comes along and doesn't notice. Total scam and parents should be embarassed.

Cebay and Madlax have similar number of holdbacks. Well if all these teams pull from the same private school system, it would make sense that the top teams or at least the teams that pull private school kids would have holdback and reclass kids. So yes teams with a public school tie will have none or few hold back kids. But any team with private school kids will have older kids.

The 3d kid is not a reclass. He was playing on 3d 2020 for the fall and winter. Several 3d 2020 kids played up on 3d 2019 last summer (the team was called 3d 2019/2020), and he was one of them, but he has always been a 2020. Great attackman. He has had the best coaching money can buy.
