In theory 24 is about the max that makes sense. Can have 2 lines at each postion. 8 Def, 6 Mid, 8 Attack, 2 Goalies. Not sure what you do with the 25th girl.
Doesn't matter how you slice it, there's bound to be some unhappy campers regarding playing time.
